In English, please

Dear reader,

I’m so glad you found me here. I absolutely love the English language, although I was born in Germany. On all my travels across continents and oceans, English has been my reliable companion. It is such a fascinating language – that’s why I couldn’t resist translating one of my books into English. I know I am anything but a native speaker – I did it, anyway. The entire process took a little over a year and a half with countless revision steps. Then I presented the whole thing to a native speaker and incorporated her suggestions for changes into the translation. Afterwards, I purchased an English grammar and style guide and revised the text once again. I have learned a lot and I am still learning. You can find the result of all this below.

Have a grand time with my books and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding me and my books.

Be carried away into a love story like it is written by real life: Being in love is not only floating in seventh heaven, but all too often a daring roller coaster ride.

Lana’s life is truly no walk in the park. In her early twenties, she loses her adoptive parents. She seeks safety in a steady relationship with Lars and avoids changes at all costs. She is six months pregnant when she meets Raphael and—for the first time in her life—falls in love immortally.

Lana’s world is turned upside down, and nothing remains as it once was. But who is Lana’s perfect match? And what should a man have to qualify as Mr. Right?

“Love is like a journey through unknown land. You have to leave everything behind without knowing what lies ahead.” (Unknown)
